Our facility is equipped with a elevator, accessible washrooms, and a table-top wheel for members who may experience mobility issues.
You can choose your level of involvement as a member of the London Potters Guild at London Clay Art Centre by selecting a membership level which suits your schedule, budget and artistic goals.

MEMBERSHIP

​Everyone who is granted studio-use privileges at London Clay Art Centre (LCAC) must pay the annual dues to become a member of The London Potters Guild (LPG).
The LPG is the charity that owns and operates LCAC and provides the Open Studio Program for individuals who are interested in further developing their skills through independent practice. During the application process, new studio-users must verify that they have had at least 72-hours of clay instruction, either at LCAC or elsewhere. NOTE FOR LPG MEMBERS WHO ARE NOT LCAC STUDIO-USERS
Clay Purchases -  If an LPG member (non-studio-user) purchases clay at LCAC, the price does NOT provide access to LCAC  glazes and kilns. 
Access to LCAC studio to use select equipment - LPG members may access LCAC once per month to use the: slab roller, extruder, pugmill, photo setup, and glaze kitchen only.

studio-user RESPONSIBILITIES

Studio-users are required to commit a minimum of 2 hours per month on an approved task that helps fulfill the needs of London Clay Art Centre and/or advances the goals of The London Potters Guild. Monthly assistance from members helps keep the centre operating efficiently and at a cost that is affordable to the widest range of individuals.
  • Committee work
  • Kiln room maintenance
  • Glaze making
  • Cleaning
  • Board of Directors
  • Class assistants
  • Drop-in-day assistants
  • Special events coordinators

studio-user Refund policy

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing
  • LPG portion is not refundable, studio-user remains a LPG member to end of membership year
  • Shelf space not refundable
  • Key Fob deposit will be returned upon return of the key fob
  • Refunds will be calculated by the month
  • No refunds given after March 1 of membership year (September 1 to August 31)
  • All refunds are subject to a $25.00 admin/processing fee
