To be recognized as a centre of excellence for the education, practice, and appreciation of the ceramic art form.
25 Year (by 2047)
To be mentors, influencers, and supporters who bring the importance of ceramics into the consciousness of every Canadian.
Mission
We aspire to give everyone access to exceptional educational, artistic, and community-building experiences with clay and ceramic art.

LCAC is the primary location at which the LPG accomplishes most of its charitable work. We provide a broad array of classes and workshops for people aged 7 and up of all skill levels and interests. Additionally, our offerings include:
  • Half-day custom workshops for community and school groups
  • Half-day team building packages
  • 3-4 hour experiential tourism packages for local or visiting tourists, corporate groups, families, etc.
  • Annual Empty Bowls event to address food insecurity in our community
  • An onsite store where local clay artists work can be purchased
  • Biennial themed exhibitions of Canadian ceramic work
  • 2 offsite annual Potters Market sales of local artists' work
  • Canadian and International Artist-in-Residence Programs
Approximately 140 individuals use LCAC's studios and state-of-the-art ceramic equipment to create their  unique and beautiful work. At any given time, the work of 35-40 artists can be purchased in the LCAC Store at 664 Dundas Street. In April/May and November each year we also hold offsite sales called the Potters Market at which the diverse work of 40-65 local clay artists is available to the public for purchase.
